Claudia Elias or Catrina Fina is working together with a group of talented Houston based filmmakers on a documentary to tell the story of “La Catrina.” Join our team of brilliant Houston filmmakers as we delve into the vibrant colors and mystique of La Catrina. Filmed on-site during the Houston Día de los Muertos celebration, as well as in mesmerizing Mexican locales like Mexico City and Guadalajara, this awe-inspiring journey will transport you to the heart of the story of the skull-faced lady of the dead. Be the first to witness the premiere of our enchanting short film this autumn – 2023 – debuting at multiple locations in East Downtown.
